Day # 135

Church was awesome. The group from taiwan (visually impaired) came to share their faith in God through music. I could see that their lives are filled with joy, it is so encouraging! Phoebe & Ken's bbq birthday party at Ruffey Lake Park was also great! Had fun with the kids, the dogs, and the rest of the people :) Came back to the city and spent some time with 11 before we both head home :) Although I'm tired now, I thank God for such a wonderful day!

I thank God I managed to cook spaghetti bolognese for city cell though it was a little rushing, thank God for the Brunetti session, and the talking session with Aileen after :)

Day # 125 (Maryborough)

13/09 - 16/09. I'll put these all in one.

So I went to Maryborough for 4 nights (sun - wed), 4 days (mon - thurs). I had a great time, supplied with awesome food for every meal, every day. It was like home. ahh, miss the place. The main reason I went there was to get some training from uncle Andrew in terms of interview skills and confidence. Also did some research on tax returns, made a few phone calls, read a book (still reading it), did the dishes (lol that's my expertise! I can't cook), watched movies/tv, played with Mochi, went for a walk at the lake with aunty HC, explored High st and found Phillips Gardens (nice place), and was able to discuss my faith in/relationship with God with uncle Andrew. I went through 4 days, 4 nights with little use of the internet, and surprisingly did not feel the need to online. It was a great feeling! That being said, I don't think I missed out a lot on stuffs happening on fb... just that I don't remember people's birthdays. haha :) I thank God for this wonderful family!

Went for my Hazard Perception Test at Vicroads today. I PASSED! Really really thank God, because I was totally unsure most of the time whether I clicked during the right time or not. lol so yes, I am one step closer now! :)

Just watched 唐山大地震. It's about the earthquake at Tangshan in 1976. It was really good, but sad at the same time. One sentence I picked up: Family will always be family. I thank God for my family :)

Today, I thank God for His Word.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognise, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 1:8 ... Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

I'm not, He is.

Day # 116 (04/09/10 Saturday)

Had a great time with Es, Mich, Eve, Josh and Ying. Went to Brunswick for our supposedly breakfast which turned out into lunch due to some actually kinda foreseeable circumstances. lol Wii-ed after at Es's :)

City cell was awesome. Love that I can be transparent and pour out my feelings in front of everyone for once. Also had a fun filled song editing session for father's day presentation with sis, Jane and John after :)

I thank God for all of the above :)

Today, I thank God for a normal study day with in betweens filled with kimchi, mochi, bread, noodles, chocolate, sweets, green bean + barley soup, milo, and egg. oops xD

Supposed to go for Keys Mission's Vocal Training with sis just now. We did go to Boxhill, but couldn't find the place and no one answered our calls. Therefore, we decided to go for desserts. hehe
