Day # 79

Woohoo! Thank God, the kitchen switch is fixed (now we can boil water, toast bread, boil rice, beat batter etc in the kitchen), the staircase light is replaced (now I don't have to use my hp light as a guide when I'm last to go up at night), and the shower handle is fixed (now we can shower in our own bathroom)! :)

... Now, to clean up the mess!

Today, I thank God for awesome day :)

Received both of my CPA subjects way earlier than expected. Really thank God there were no problems with Australia post :)

I drove in the city today. Did hook turn, and reverse parking! hehe thank God for the fine weather and for protection :)

Oh yes, love carrots.. especially carrot milk juice :) Oh, but that's not my point. hehe today we went to Nasi Lemak House for lunch. The 3 of us ordered Loh Mien. Mine came out to be the one with the most carrots. I said, "they knew I like carrots". lol maybe because God knows, so He made them put more in my bowl. haha anyway, I thank God for even caring about such insignificant thing in my life. And if He cares for all the little things in my life, what more to say about those bigger, significant things right? :)

Had a great time at City Cell Social Night! Thank God for good catch up, fellowship, and new friend(s). :)

Case For Faith was much better today. Was able to concentrate better. :)

Day # 72

Today, I thank God there was no road work outside so it wasn't noisy :) Also had the motivation to cook healthier food for dinner today instead of the usual bread/biscuits/chocs. ABC soup with soba noodles. Yum ^^

Day # 71

Today, I helped a guy staying at Unit 19 open the door to the car park downstairs because he left his key in the car. Hmm, I don't see how this is supposed to turn out into "something to be thankful about".. Jimmy is out of Masterchef competition. That, I am happy.. but not something for me to be thankful about because I'm not the one competing.. So ok, back to the basics, the daily little things that we often overlook: I thank God for the quietness and peacefulness of the night :)

Day # 70

This is something to be really thankful about (not saying that my previous 69 posts were not something to be really thankful about, though). So like, just now was my 9th time going down to the car park to finally turn on the cold water supply without the need to turn it off again (although I have a feeling, not for good... but at least for awhile, that is good enough). My landlady managed to tighten the shower knob for the cold water which had been leaking unforgivably since the past two days. And for now, we will have to use the other bathroom to shower (until they get it fixed. aka renovation day). Can't imagine how messy that would be. But can't wait for that day to come. Anyway, really wanna thank God that we have an extra bathroom to use and that I don't have to keep going down to turn the water on/off although it was good exercise. hehe :)

Day # 69

Had my 4th and 5th driving lesson this morning. Drove on the freeway to Tullamarine airport, picked somebody up from his home (instructor's student) and drove back to Dryburgh st aka my home. I thank God that I'm slowly progressing in my driving skills. hehe super heart driving xD

Today, I thank God for His guidance in leading worship, and for BOL English Church's 9th anniversary! :) May God continue to bless this church, Amen!

Today was Uncle Chew's funeral and burial ceremony. Thank God for strength and guidance especially in playing the keys during the "songs" session. Thank God also for the fine weather. Uncle Chew's presence in church will definitely be missed by us all.

Case For Faith! Emm.. I found it kinda difficult to concentrate and I don't fully grasp the point that the speaker was trying to deliver. But all in all, I thank God I was able to attend.. and was able to listen and get some points here and there :)

Had stomachache and lao sai-ed earlier this evening. lol thank God I'm fine now :)

Drove around the neighbourhood with sis just now. Thank God for no cars and for protection. We got home safely :)

Even though someone woke up late today and caused worship practice to be cancelled; even though I found out only after I trammed all the way to Flinders; even though I had to wake up earlier to catch the tram... I thank God I don't feel tired at all today! Because Nehemiah 8:10 "... the joy of the Lord is your strength" :)
